We usually do not put restaurant reviews as the featured item, but this little restaurant deserves it. Meet Graffiti
Graffiti Restro Cafe and Wine Bar is a 60 seat Funky, Comfortable Bistro style Restaurant with a Blackboard menu that changes daily with the local availability of the freshest products, Fruits, Vegetable, Seafood and Meats. We pride ourselves in the Slow Food movement and maintain by using local fresh, healthy and sustainable products from the region. We have no rules or boundaries when it comes to our food and our ambiance is just as eclectic. We are off the main track and a little difficult to find on purpose.
It is a little hard to find this place, but once you do you will be happy. It is in a small retail strip plaza, but the entrance does not face the main drag in Jaco. Some ways to find it include:
- When you see the Subway near the bridge it is basically behind that subway, so start walking away from bridge and turn into the strip mall.
- It is in the strip mall in front of Jaco Monaco condos.
- It is the in the retail / strip plaze right next to the movie theater, grocery store, KFC, Quiznos, etc..
I have personally ate there a few times, and not only is it quality food, they also always seem to find a helpful and laid back staff. Everyone speaks English, but they cater to locals and tourists alike. Check their board for daily specials, and you can never go wrong with their Coffee and Cacao Crusted Beef Tenderloin.
Here are some recent TripAdvisor reports if you don’t believe me:
This restaurant was amazing! Graffiti’s gave us the opportunity to have a wonderful meal with first class service. The decor was lovely, the food was incredible and our server, Creighton, was absolutely top notch. He was able to answer any question we had, and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our visit. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a night out to celebrate somethibg, or for anyone looking for that next level of service. Thank you Creighton for making our visit unforgettable!
Yeah…the title is right! I had the coffee/cocoa crusted tenderloin for dinner and it was so good, I asked our waitress if anyone had ever liked it so much that they ordered a second one for dessert. She had seen one customer do it and I told her that I’d be her second…ordered a second and it was just as good as the first!!! So good that I asked for the chef to come to the table to give him my review in person. Thomas has a great little place here and had it not been my last night in Costa Rica, I definitely would have had another meal here. A must for a meal if you are within 75km of Jaco. Great job Thomas and staff and I look forward to another visit the next time I’m lucky enough to be in CR. BTW…my wife also raved about her Tuna TarTar Tower that she had!!!
